Claim Tips

Claims settlement is subject to the terms and conditions of your policy and settlement is determined by the claims adjuster representing your carrier.  All claims should be reported in a timely manner.  Please see below for tips on claim reporting.

Tips on Claim Reporting:

For your convenience, you can submit claims by calling our office, submit a claim online, or complete a claim form and fax or e-mail the claim to our office.

Liability, Property, Disability, and Auto claims should be reported within thirty days of a known incident.  Failure to do so could result in decreased coverage or declination of coverage by the insuring company.

Workers Compensations claims should be reported to the insurance carrier by the employer within ten days of notification of a claim.  A workers compensation claim is considered to be any of the following:

  • Lost time of one day from regular duties beyond the work shift in which the accident occurred
  • More than ordinary first aid is required by the employee
  • More than two first aid treatments are required by the employee
